Matt’s Story, An Example of Soaring From Our Nest:
Earlier this fall, we introduced you to Matt, a resilient individual whose life took a positive turn thanks to the unwavering support of our community. Matt spent seven years navigating the challenges of homelessness, and we’ve been alongside him for much of that journey. This year, with our collective support, Matt was empowered to take a monumental step—he entered rehab to overcome addiction. Emerging with renewed strength, we continued assisting him, helping with social security registration and providing a smartphone. These seemingly small acts had a profound impact, leading to Matt finding a safe and stable home of his own in early November. Matt’s story is only one of the sheltered 249 individuals, with 87 successfully transitioned guests that moved into permanent housing through our programs. We thank all who generously donated time and resources. Your commitment touched lives directly and inspired others to join our cause.
